Possible hydrothermal gold associated with ironstone/siderite veins within NE-trending fault zones 80 km north-east of Hawker was the exploration objective. A review of historical gold exploration in the area, undertaken by two consultants, was accompanied by investigation of its fine gold potential through bulk cyanide leach (BCL) stream sediment (141 samples), channel chip (28 samples) and rock chip sampling (50 samples) and geological prospecting. No significant Au values were detected.
