TARGET: Gold which could had been emplaced in sheared and altered zones present within the intrusions and on the contacts of the Hiltaba Suite Granite and Muckanippie Diorite. EXPLORATION: Reprocessing of historic aerial magnetic survey data, making a 1:50,000 scale photogeological interpretation, conducting grid-based soil and rock chip sampling (699 and 77 samples respectively), ground magnetic surveying, acquisition of a colour aerial photography survey (1:10,000 scale), and exploratory RAB drilling (82 vertical open holes totalling 1213 m) at the Malbooma mine. RESULTS: Minor concentrations of gold were disclosed by the drilling, and a soil gold anomaly was outlined on the Lake Barry sampling grid.
