TARGET: Heavy mineral sands in the Mount Wedge region of Eyre Peninsula. EXPLORATION: Sampling of water bore cuttings and reverse circulation drilling (10 holes totalling 257 metres). RESULTS: Minor concentrations of titanium and zirconium were recorded in a number of holes; titanium is probably present as hydrated oxides.
