Known fine-grained cassiterite vein mineralisation occurring at Prospect Hill was investigated via detailed geological mapping (at 1:1000 scale), ground magnetic surveying and the conduct of metallurgical testwork. Out of this work it was concluded that if the mineralogically simple ore found at the Southern Ridge prospect were to be mined and processed, a tin recovery of greater than 80% could be expected if the correct ore treatment flowsheet is used.
