TARGET: Diamondiferous kimberlites in the Boorthanna Trough region (near Nilpinna Springs). EXPLORATION: A literature review, the reprocessing and re-interpretation of data from BHP's 1983 Peake Creek Aerial Magnetic Survey flown by Aerodata / McPhar, follow-up ground magnetic surveying, and the drilling at selected magnetic anomalies of 8 rotary mud holes totalling 731 m. RESULTS: No kimberlite or diamonds, and only trace amounts of kimberlitic indicators (ilmenite), were found.
