TARGET: Cattlegrid type copper deposits and Olympic Dam type copper-gold-uranium mineralisation. EXPLORATION: Ground magnetic, IP, gravity, SIROTEM, CSAMT, and seismic reflection surveys, photogeological and lithogeochemical studies, reprocessing of aerial magnetic data, compilation of isopach and palaeotopographic plans, a groundwater helium survey, a biogeochemical survey, open-hole drilling (112 holes totalling 15,529 m) and diamond drilling (49 holes totalling 9927 m). Backhoe trenching of the Pernatty Lagoon manganese deposits was also undertaken. RESULTS: Numerous mineralised zones were disclosed in Adelaidean and basement rocks.
