TARGET: Coal in the Oodnadatta - Mount Barry - Allandale area of the Arckaringa Basin. EXPLORATION: The drilling of 11 holes totalling 2989 m, the re-appraisal of existing seismic data, and acquisition of a high resolution reflection seismic survey and an experimental Sirotem survey (see Env 4317). RESULTS: Coal of variable thickness and quality was intersected in 9 holes.
