TARGET: Sedimentary uranium in Tertiary palaeochannels, plus Olympic Dam or sedex type base and precious metal deposits in the Proterozoic basement. EXPLORATION: Ground magnetic, gravity and SIROTEM surveys, one 600 metre deep diamond drill hole (BW M1a-1), geochemical sampling, and reprocessing of aerial magnetic data. RESULTS: Iron (magnetite) and minor but pervasive base metal sulphides occurring as veinlets in hydrothermally altered ?Mesoproterozoic volcanics were recorded over the 210 m thick interval to TD in BW M1a-1, below 391 metres thickness of unmineralised cover rocks.
