TARGET: Base metals and gold in Precambrian basement concealed beneath aeolian sand cover near Mount Finke, 65 km south-west of Tarcoola. EXPLORATION: - rock chip sampling; - interpretation of existing regional aeromagnetic and gravity data; - a 530 line km low level aerial magnetic survey (altitude: 90 m, line spacing: 400 m) flown by Aerodata Pty Ltd; - follow up gravity and magnetic surveys and rotary percussion drilling (2 holes totalling 201 m) over a gravity and magnetic anomaly. RESULTS: Some low order base metal values were intersected in a metamorphosed granitoid.
