TARGET: The Coober Pedy Ridge was investigated for possible iron ore, diamond and Olympic Dam-style Cu-Au-U mineralisation. EXPLORATION: Examination of available water bore data, aerial magnetic and radiometric surveys, aerial photography, a regional gravity survey, follow-up ground magnetic, gravity and Sirotem surveys, and drilling (9 diamond drill holes totalling 1775 m; 18 percussion drill holes totalling 1258 m). RESULTS: Anomalous concentrations of copper, phosphorus, iron and rare earths were recorded in a possible carbonatite at Mount Brady. Anomalous uranium, thorium, cerium and lanthanum were found in pegmatitic breccias at the Peppercorn prospect.
