TARGET: Definition of economic brown coal mineralisation in the northern Saint Vincent Basin. EXPLORATION: Open-hole rotary drilling of 127 holes totalling 11,103 m, including a reported minimum of 468 m of HQ rotary coring in 24 of the holes. The drill cores have been sent to ACIRL for undergoing chemical analyses, x-ray scans and beneficiation tests. All of the drillhole sample returns (cuttings and cores) are being geologically logged by both SADME and ETSA staff. A re-assessment of the deposit reserves is underway, and compilation of geological reports on the Blyth and Wakefield occurrences has been started.
