TARGET: Evaluation of the historic Mutooroo copper mine area for shallow copper-gold-cobalt mineralization that may be amenable to open pit mining. EXPLORATION: A review of all existing data, re-assaying of drill cores, and exploratory reverse circulation drilling (10 holes totalling 420 metres). RESULTS: Drilling adjacent to the central and southern blocks of the old workings revealed only sparse, poor grade mineralization in the oxidised zone, and an excessively deep, pyrite-dominated sulphide zone.
