TARGET: Diamonds in 3 areas, one west of Lock, another east of Elliston, and the third surrounding Venus Bay. EXPLORATION: Heavy mineral sampling, airborne magnetic and multichannel radiometric surveys, ground magnetic surveys, and selected anomaly RC aircore drilling (14 holes totalling 1059 m) with drill sample geochemistry, petrography and palynology. RESULTS: Three small, non-diamondiferous kimberlites were discovered near Sheoak Hill, 15 km east of Elliston.
