TARGET: Base metals and gold associated with concealed Proterozoic intrusive rocks in the Emu Dam area, 40 km south-east of Lake Frome. EXPLORATION: Reprocessing of airborne magnetic data flown by Geoex for SADME in 1977, 1978 and 1979, plus ground magnetic and gravity surveys and reverse circulation drilling (6 holes, total 754 m). RESULTS: Elevated base metal, silver and bismuth values were disclosed within altered volcanics overlying a magnetic feature interpreted as a deep-seated intermediate-felsic intrusive.
