Reconnaissance (20.8 line km) and follow-up (66.4 line km) IP surveys, ground magnetic surveys (18.1 line km) and regional and detailed geological mapping (1:12,000 scale) were carried out. 782 semi-regional stream sediment samples, and 1038 follow-up soil and bedrock auger geochemical samples were collected over IP anomalies. 1 inclined diamond drillhole (DDH A1, TD 292 m) was put in to test a significant IP anomaly and coincident soil lead anomaly at the Abminga prospect. It encountered disseminated sulphides, comprising minor chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite, within graphitic schists.
