Two separate prospect areas have been explored with reconnaissance and follow-up IP surveys (total 264 line km), ground magnetic surveys (34 line km), minor TX - Afmag and REM surveys (4 line km), and regional and detailed geological mapping (1:12,000 scale). 1823 soil, rock chip and bedrock auger geochemical samples were collected over IP anomalies, together with 1310 stream sediment samples. 4 diamond drillholes were completed (including 3 in the Walparuta area, total penetration 676 m), to test IP and soil geochemical anomalies. Sub-economic disseminated sulphides, comprising minor chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite, occur within graphitic schists in all of the drillholes.
