Exploration targeted Pb-Zn and Cu-Au mineralisation within covered extensions of the Broken Hill Block in the Starvation Lake area near the SA-NSW border. An aeromagnetic survey identified three targets which were followed up with ground magnetic surveys and rotary mud/diamond tail drilling during early October 1992 (one vertical hole, total depth 175.8 m). Basement, consisting of greenschist facies ?Neoproterozoic amygdaloidal flow metabasalt, was encountered at 151 m depth, and weakly anomalous Cu and Zn values were returned from 4-metre interval core sample assaying.
