Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic, magnetic and gravity survey. A total of 102 miles of seismic data was recorded; predominantly single-fold reflection with some 3-fold stacking and several refraction probes. The gravity (1268 stations) and magnetic (1366 stations) data were extended further west to correlate to outcropping basement. The survey aimed to use seismic to better define the Lake Fowler and Sultana Point structure and to provide more control; use magnetics to distinguish basement topography and faults affecting it; use gravity to increase the accuracy of the Bouger anomaly map; and ultimately assist with drillsite selection. Three Cambrian horizons were mapped (Ramsay, Para/Kulpara, Transition); major closure in the prospective sequence could be observed. Gravity and magnetic results suggest that sedimentary features are related to basement features; in the NE of the area steep gravity and magnetic gradients arise from intrabasement effects. Areas for drilling exploration are recommended.
