Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic survey. The survey aimed to locate structurally high areas closing against the margin of the Gambier Trough and the Beachport - Penola Shelf. The first refraction line recorded (Penola 1 to Mt Salt) showed no correlation and was followed by a reflection program to investigate a deep-seated high revealed by the refraction. Subsurface coverage was 70 miles refraction and 47 miles reflection.
