Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic and gravity survey. 818 profiles were recorded totaling 188 km. The survey aimed to investigate the NW extension of the Arckaringa trough, focusing on areas that were deeper (based on gravity work) in the hope of discovering prospective hydrocarbon structures. Results outline the NW extremities of the sub-basin; several structures were indicated and merit further exploration. The concurrent gravity survey was carried out to aid interpretation of seismic data and to help delineate areas for further exploration (see App. 4).
