Reviews coastline, lagoons, beach dunes, interdunal corridors, lunettes, drainage, zones of groundwater discharge, volcanic features, unconsolidated surface material, consolidated surface material. Geology is as follows: (1) Limestone extends NW from SA-Victoria border near Mount Gambier to Tantanoola and from coast almost to Dismal Swamp. Exposures extend into Victoria. (2) Pyroclastics and lava (2 generations). (3) 6 miles NW of Mount Gambier; near Malla; near Lake Leake. Faults (Kanawinka most obvious, plus many lesser ones, all showing NW trend and all characterised by slight scarp with lineaments), lineaments (many associated with faults; show a pronounced en-echelon pattern from Glenelg River to Millicent), strike and dip (near Mount Gambier shows a general NE trend), folds (axes parallel to faults, some have a spatial relation to volcanoes),anomalous features (lunettes forming U-shaped pattern with apex S of Penola, related to tonal anomalies on photos).
