Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic and gravity surveys. The gravity survey aimed to extend and tie to an earlier survey, to gather regional and detailed coverage, and to establish values along seimic lines. The seismic survey aimed to carry out deep refraction probes at selected locations, to re-check indications of high velocity limestones within the Cambrian, to investigate suitable reflection techniques, to carry out broad reconnaissance, to search for anticlinal structures and to select a potential petroleum drill site. Two horizons are presented on the contour maps; N-S anticlinal ridging 7 or 8 miles west of Stansbury was established. The 1967 gravity extension survey covered ~200 square miles and established 215 new stations. The gravity 'high' in the vicinity of the Stansbury township was clearly defined.
