Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic and gravity survey. A total of 2324 profiles covering 555 miles were recorded; 1584 gravity stations were metered. The survey aimed to locate prospective hydrocarbon drillsites in Palaeozoic sediments of the Lake Frome Embayment. The results show a relative uncomplicated Cambrian basin with little faulting or folding. A small Cambrian structure was located, but no large closed structures or definite diapiric features. Future operators might consider investigation of possible Cambrian structures NW of Lake Frome and of areas of non-coincidence between the seismic and gravity results.
