Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic survey. The survey comprised 41.9 miles of subsurface refraction coverage and 50.5 miles of subsurface reflection coverage. The survey aimed to map a wedge-out of basal Merino Group sandstone in the Penola Trough and to cdelinate structure in the Caroline area. The results confirmed the presence of a major embayment in the Killanoola area and the truncation of the Merino Group within it. Reliable data was acquired in the W, N and E flank of the Caroline structure, but the S dip and exact postion of the culmination remian to be defined.
