Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic survey. 580 profiles were shot along ~200 miles of line; CDP technique was used for 10 miles. Survey aims were reconnaissance in the SE area and detailed over the Ilbinga structure. At least one structure was delineated within the Pedirka Basin and more were indicated. Additional investigation (drilling and geology) is necessary to evaluate this area completely, in particular to determine the exact relationship between the various reflected events and the geology. It is recommended that a well be drilled on the Mount Barr structure, followed by more seismic investigation.
