Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, results and interpretation of the seismic survey. A total of 807 miles of reflection line was shot (209 miles using explosives, 598 miles using air guns). Results of previous surveys (1966, 1968) are also incorporated. Four horizons are mappable. West of Kangaroo Island ~20+ 000' of sedimets have been deposited; a number of structural trends have been established and some closures seem probable. At the mouth of the Elliston Trough neither very thick sediments or significant structural leads could be identified. Further seismic work is reccommended to investigate closures west of Kangaroo Island and the trend of the Elliston Trough. Separate data processing (Geophysical Services International, 50 pages) and operations (Bataafse Internationale Petroleum Maatschappij, 26 pages) reports are included.
