Offshore data from EPPSA15 was reviewed with all available data to compare the onshore basin morphology. Prospectivity is extremely low. Recent drilling in the offshore portion of the Polda Trough have substantially downgraded the licence area. Major facies change in the pre Permo-Carboniferous would have to be invoked to engender any prospectivity. An environmental survey covering flora fauna, national parks, aboriginals, granite and quartz outcrops, concluded that damage to a relatively fragile environment would be severe initially, but could be rectified by careful remedial action. The problem of groundwater contamination would have to addressed in detail.
