AIM: To obtain detailed coverage of potential drilling prospects, and add to the regional grid over the permit area. Work would initially focus on the Rocky strong lead, the main permit Year 6 drilling candidate, and then embrace the remaining six leads in the Duntroon-Platypus-Greenly play fairway. METHODS: Survey dates: 24/12/95 - 9/1/96. Energy source: Airgun. CDP coverage: 6000%. Recording mode: 240 channel digital - Digicon DSS-240 marine streamer recording system. SP interval: 25.0 metres, group interval: 12.5 metres. 48 lines totalling 1557.35 line km of semi-detailed and detailed seismic data were recorded for the HD95 survey by Party 523 of contractor Digicon Geophysical Ltd using the M/V Acadian Searcher, and immediately processed onboard the ship by that company using TANGO software, in a new procedure which constituted a first-time operational method for the SA offshore region.
