A formal operator's geophysical interpretation report for this survey was not submitted; instead the operator's interpretive comment and mapping for the Kalangadoo data is contained within the PEL 32 licence Year 1 annual report (Env 08291 R 4). Petroleum prospectivity and play concepts are discussed. KALANGADOO SURVEY AIM: This seismic survey, of 15 lines with a total coverage of 437.5 line kms, was shot as a 6 km-spaced regional reconnaisance grid over the entire licence area to delineate prospective Cretaceous structural leads. The new seismic work, plus the reprocessing of 163 line km of 24-fold 1980 and 1981 data, fulfilled the Licence Year 1 exploration commitment. METHODS: Survey dates: 7 April - 28 May 1985. Energy source: Vibroseis. CDP coverage: 2000%. Recording mode: 120 channel digital - DFS-V recorder. SP interval: 75.0m; group interval: 25.0m.
