3 drill core samples from the Early Permian in Purni 1 and Witcherrie 1 were analysed for TOC, Rock Eval pyrolysis, petrographic and vitrinite reflectance data to allow a check and comparison with anomalous aromatic hydrocarbon biomarker ratios previously obtained from Dalmatia 1 and Mount Hammersley 1 Early Permian drill cuttings analyses: these ratios may have important implications for local Jurassic and Permian oil-source rock correlations.
