AIM: The 1993 Troubridge Shoals Seismic Survey programme, of shallow water/shelf transition zone coverage on the southwestern and western sides of Gulf St Vincent, was designed to tie the extensive offshore seismic data of recent vintage to the earlier onshore seismic from southern Yorke Peninsula, thus enabling limited well control over Canyon's proposed detailed seismic stratigraphic interpretation efforts. METHODS: Survey dates: 29/7 - 7/8/93. Energy source: Tuned airgun array. CDP coverage: 6000%. Recording mode: 120 channel digital - Texas Instruments DFS V recorder. SP interval: 12.5 metres, group interval: 12.5 metres. RESULTS: 15 lines totalling 226 line km were acquired by the Fugro Survey M/V Seaworker (the survey was curtailed from the originally programmed 276 line km by persistent inclement weather and rough seas). The data tapes were processed in Michigan, USA, by Alvin Hosking. Only basic geophysical data for this survey is available while the related PELs remain in force - interpretive data will be released after licence relinquishment.
