AIM: To acquire further detailed reflection seismic coverage of the south-west of the licence area to resolve doubts about the currently mapped closures on the following structures: (i) The Woakwine Prospect, a tilted fault block near the intersection of lines SC90-08 and SC90-19; (ii) a dipping rollover on the downthrown side of the major fault separating the Woakwine Terrace from the Saint Clair Trough (intersection of lines SC90-21 and SC90-19 with SCD91-102); (iii) an anticlinal rollover at the intersection of lines SC90-29 and SCD91-119. A subsequent amendment to the original programme added a further line to increase definition of the Woakwine Prospect, besides allowing investigation of a possible separate closure to the north of the Woakwine structure on the downthrown side of the Woakwine fault. METHODS: Survey dates: 15/4 - 25/4/92. Energy source: Vibroseis (and Dynamite on 3 lines as an infill source over approx. 10-15 line km). CDP coverage: 15 000%. Recording mode: 300 channel digital - Sercel SN368 recorder. VP interval: 20.0 metres; group interval: 20.0 metres. RESULTS: 7 lines totalling 77.58 line km were acquired by Party 785 of Western Geophysical, and processed in Singapore, Malaysia, by that company.

Technical outcomes of the Beachport survey interpretation have presumably been incorporated in the planning and mapping of later PEL 39 seismic work.
