This geophysical review is based on a recent interpretation of seismic data over the Della Field, including those from the development seismic survey recorded in 1980. Data from the 1978 and 1980 surveys is superior to that from earlier recordings, resulting in better definiton of of the structure at the top of the Toolachee Formation. However, accurate mapping of the top of the Patchawarra Formation and base of the Permian is difficult. Further re-processing would be required to resolve some of the possible anomalous closures that exist at the Late Cretaceous level.
