During the reporting quarter Canyon personnel and Australian geophysical consultant, Jim Allender, have contracted a shallow water seismic crew, Furgo, to shoot a shallow water seismic program on the west side of the basin (up against Yorke Peninsula and Kangaroo Island). Acquisition is to begin in July. At report time, permitting and formal notification to SADME were awaiting the signing of the contract. Core samples from Investigator 2, analyzed in Australia, yeild extremely lean Cambrian source rock measurements. The numbers were verified by having similar measurements made by Core Lab (in Dallas, Texas, USA) on additional samples. Included in the analysis of the core samples were vitrinite reflectance values in the 0.98% to 1.34% range, indicating the upper end of the oil window to gas condensate.
