PEL00057 ran for three(3) terms from 18/11/1991 until 8/2/2008. Originally the license was held and operated by Lakes Oil. Boral Energy took over operatorship on 1/1/99 and continued until 21/9/2004 where upon Lakes Oil resumed operatorship until the licence was relinquished on 8/2/2008. Activities conducted in the licence area included the drilling of 2 wells (McNicol 1 and Northumberland 1) and recording of 4 seismic surveys (1998 Mulcrest, 1999 Mt McIntyre, 2001 SummerHill and 2002 Honans Scrub). Other activities included seismic reprocessing in 1995, 1999 and 2002, a Gravity Survey in 2002, a Gore Sorber Geochemical survey in 2006 plus structural interpretation from Landsat Images.
