Santos Ltd contracted WesternGeco to record the Caladan-Darlingie 3D Seismic Survey covering some 34 Production Tenements in the western portion of the Cooper Basin during June and September 2001. A combination of receiver lines spaced 400m apart and zig-zag source lines spaced 400 and 200 m apart was employed Group Interval was 50 meters and Source Interval either 141 or 100m giving 24 fold coverage. Located 25 kms SW of Moomba the total surface area was 801 sq kms. The survey was designed to tie in the 1995 Moomba North Flank 3D, 1997 Moomba-Big Lake 3D and the 1998 Barina-Farina 3D Seismic Surveys. The current survey data was merged with the surveys listed above during processing by WesternGeco in Adelaide.
