Beach Petroleum N/L contracted Terrex Seismic to record the 2004 Malleus 2D Seismic Survey in 2phases. The first phase comprising 18 lines covering 177kms of new data was recorded in June 2004 over licence areas PEL 91 and 106. The second phase was completed during October 2004 in licence PEL 107 and involved 14 lines covering 86 kms. In addition a total of 320 kms of reprocessing was completed.. The focus of the survey was to mature prospects in each licence area and to enhance the regional seismic framework. Location of the survey was approximately 40 kms west of Moomba Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 37.5 meters and a VP Interval of 37.5 meters for maximum CDP coverage of 62.5 fold stack. All data was processed by Fugro Seismic Imaging in Perth.
