Beach Petroleum N/L contracted Terrex Seismic to record the 2004 Malleus South 2D Seismic Survey during July 2004.This survey was recorded in 2 licence areas, namely PEL 94 and PEL 95. A total of 23 lines were recorded for a total line length of 334 kms. A further 221 kms of pre-existing data from 11 lines was reprocessed in conjunction with this survey and a total of 2167 new upholes were recorded. The focus of the survey was to mature leads in each of the permit areas and to enhance the regional seismic framework. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 37.5 meters and a VP Interval of 37.5 meters for maximum CDP coverage of 62.5 fold stack. All data was processed by Fugro Seismic Imaging in Perth.
