Beach Petroleum N.L. licence holders of PEL 91 and PEL 92 contracted Terrex Seismic to record the Mytilus 2D Seismic survey during May-June 2005. This survey was designed to mature to prospect status identified leads in each licence area and to enhance the regional seismic grid. The survey location was approximately 100kms west of Moomba The survey consisted of 641kms of new data over 47 lines plus a further 762kms of existing data over 41 lines was reprocessed in conjunction with the current survey. Acquisition parameters were generally Group Interval of 37.5 meters and a VP Interval of 37.5 meters for maximum CDP coverage of 62.5 fold stack. A program of 396 upholes was also completed during the survey. All data was processed by Fugro Seismic Imaging Pty Ltd in Perth.
