Beach Petroleum N/L contracted Terrex Seismic to record the 2005 Discuss 2D Seismic Survey in 2 licence areas, namely PEL 95 and PEL 107. The PEL 95 activities comprised 5 lines totaling 68 kms and PEL 107 had 9 lines totaling 74 kms of new acquisition. 102 new upholes were acquired during the survey. The objective of the survey was to mature to prospect status, leads in each permit area and to enhance the regional seismic framework. Location of the PEL 95 survey was approximately 40 kms west of Moomba while the PEL 107 activities were are located 40 kms west of Moomba. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 37.5 meters and a VP Interval of 37.5 meters for maximum CDP coverage of 62 fold stack. A total of 260 kms of reprocessing was also undertaken in conjunction with the survey. All data was processed by Fugro Seismic Imaging in Perth.
