Great Artesian Oil and gas Pty Ltd (GAOG) contracted Terrex Seismic Services to record the 2007 Spinel 3D Seismic Survey during January-April 2007 in PEL 991 and PEL 106. The focus of the survey was to provide the basis for subsequent rounds of drilling and to provide the basis for development of GAOG’s gas reserves. The location of the survey was approximately 80kms north-west of Moomba. Total surface covered by this survey was 496kms2. Source and Receiver lines were spaced 320 m apart. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 40 meters and a VP Interval of 40m for maximum CDP coverage of 35 fold stack. A Total of 103 new upholes were recorded and all data was processed by Velseis Integrated Seismic Technologies in Brisbane.
