Santos Ltd in conjunction with Beach Petroleum Ltd contracted Terrex Seismic Pty Ltd to record the 2007 Spencer-Kiana-Muteroo 3D Seismic Survey during May 2007. This survey was designed to define the crestal locations over 3 recently discovered oil fields namely Spencer, Kiana and Muteroo. The location of the survey was in PEL107 and PPL 212 (held by Beach Energy) and PPL’s 32, 37, 53, 67, 143 and 144 (held by Santos Ltd) all some 60kms west of Moomba. Total surface covered by this survey was 165kms2. Source and receiver lines were spaced 320 metres apart. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 40 meters and a VP Interval of 40m for maximum CDP coverage of 35 fold stack. No upholes were recorded. All data was processed by Velseis Integrated Seismic Technologies
