Torrens Energy Ltd contracted Terrex Seismic Services to record the 2009 Parachilna seismic Survey during January 2009 in Geothermal Exploration Licences(GEL) 230 and 278. The location of the survey area is on the western flank of the Flinders ranges and westwards toward Lake Torrens. The location of the survey was selected in order to select drilling locations to investigate an inferred geothermal resource within this area of the Torrens Hinge Zone. A single line was recorded running from the ranges, through Parachilna and westwards to the shore of Lake Torrens Total line length recorded was 40.76 km surface. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 40 meters and a VP Interval of 40m for maximum nominal CDP coverage of 120 fold stack. No new upholes were recorded for this survey. All data was processed by Velseis Processing in Brisbane.
