Linc Energy (formerly known as SAPEX Ltd) licence holders of PEL’s 117, 121, 122 and 123 contracted Terrex Seismic Services to record the 2011 Regional Arckaringa 2D Seismic Survey during May to August 2011. This survey was designed to delineate and confirm structural leads in the Borthanna Trough and to investigate the southern and north western extremities of the trough. A semi detailed program of 34 lines totalling 1153.4 km was recorded plus 5 lines of reprocessing were completed. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 20 meters for one half of the program and 30m group intervals for the remainder. The VP Interval was also varied between 20 and 30m for CDP coverage which varied from 83-124 fold of stack. No new upholes were recorded during the survey. All data was processed by Dayboro Geophysical in Brisbane.
