Beach Energy Ltd contracted Terrex Seismic Pty Ltd to record the 2012 Irus 3D Seismic Survey during September-November 2012. The primary objective of the survey and reprocessing program was to enhance the regional framework over this area of the basin and to mature existing leads to prospect status. The location of the survey was within PEL’s 91, 92 and 106 approximately 65kms west of Moomba. Total surface covered by this survey was 587kms2. However with the merging of parts of the Neritus, Spinel and Raven-Moonanga Surveys the final processed volume approximates 826 kms2 of coverage. Source and receiver lines were spaced 320 metres apart. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 40 meters and a VP Interval of 40 metres for maximum CDP coverage of 56 fold stack. No upholes were recorded. All data was processed by CGG Australia in Perth, WA.
