DrillSearch Energy Ltd contracted Western Geco to record the 2013 Munathiri Infill 3D Seismic Survey during March-April 2013 using its UNIQ system of recording. The purpose of the survey was designed to fill in all the gaps left in existing 3D coverage created in previous rounds of exploration in this part of PEL 513.The survey area was located over the SW part of the Patchawarra Trough and it was hoped to locate structural/stratigraphic prospects within the Patchawarra Formation. The location of the survey was approximately 40kms west of Moomba. Total surface area covered by this survey was 320km2. Source lines were spaced 325m apart while Receiver Lines were spaced at 325m intervals. Acquisition parameters were Point Source and Receiver intervals of 12.5m for a nominal CDP coverage of 169 fold stack. No upholes were recorded. Extensive ties were made to the 2002 Gidgealpa 3D and Raven-Moonanga 3D Surveys, the 2007 Spinel 3D and Spencer-Kiana-Muteroo 3D Surveys and the 2012 Irus 3D Survey, but no reprocessing of previous surveys was conducted. All data was processed by WesternGeco in Perth, WA.
