PEL00145 covering 5738km2 and located in the southern Finders Ranges area was granted to Greenpower Energy on 21st Feb. 2011 for a period of 5 years. The licence area covered the entire Willochra Basin and also included the Tertiary Boolcunda and Springfield Basin. The Exploration commitments for the first 3 licence years was for Geological and Geophysical Studies and to that end a “Geological Summary of the Willochra Basin was completed. Geophysical Surveys were muted to assess the extent of the Tertiary Lignites but never eventuated before the licence was surrendered on 20th Feb 2014 at the end of licence year 3.
