Ongoing soil sampling over a base metal - mineralised gossan within dolomitic metasediments located 12 km north of Willochra has returned values of up to 4800 ppm Pb, 2650 ppm Zn and 390 ppm Cu. A detailed geological map of the occurrence was made, and rock chip sampling traverses plus five trenches for channel sampling were also made. These yielded much higher bulk assay values, ranging up to 3.8% lead, 1.15% zinc and 0.13% copper along Line 00, consistent with supergene enrichment of base metals above an underlying ore zone. 8 lines of SP profiling and a single line of IP survey were acquired over the mineralised zone, revealing several small SP anomalies, one of which appears to be over 1400 feet long. A few small, unrelated IP anomalies could not be correlated with the position of surface mineralisation, and may reflect a the influence of major fault mapped nearby to the south.
