in 2014, Ouro Preto Pty Ltd engaged the services of Dayboro Geophysical to undertake seismic reprocessing in tenement PEL629. In total 60 lines comprising some 1060 line km’s were reprocessed. The lines reprocessed were selected on the basis of their quality and their position within the basin, preference was given to lines covering the deeper sections of the various troughs within PEL629 rather than structural highs, as these areas were considered to be more prospective for the development of unconventional targets. The results of the reprocessing work proved to be invaluable for improving the quality of the seismic data, the main improvements are summarised as follows: • Understanding of the statics corrections was considerably improved • Reprocessed seismic imaging above and below Base Eumeralla were much improved • Imaging of the Basement was also improved • Faults are now much better imaged in both the shallow and deeper sections • Signal degradation below 1.5 secs has been reduced • Overall reduction in noisy data (in the shallow section), improvement on the S/N ratio
