1984 Recon hydrocarbon microseepage survey, Pedirka Block.

An aerial survey over 6 seismically-defined prospects indicated that 3 had significant hydrocarbon microseepage anomalies (Glen Joyce, Killumi and Poolowanna). A ground geochemical survey was conducted over the 3 prospects and Oolarinna. Visual and statistical evaluation of the results show that significant anomalies may be recognised, although determination of clear trends in gas ratios and background levels is difficult.
